JoAnne Halpern, COO and Head of Institutional Sales

JoAnne has been with Venator Capital Management Ltd. since July 2007, with her role as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales encompassing sales, marketing, client relations, and operations. JoAnne attained her MBA (Schulich) in 2001, while still immersed in her past career as a Mathematics educator (B.A. Math, Guelph 1996, B.Ed. York, 1998). JoAnne has taught all levels and grades (including post-secondary), and was a teacher in the public system, the private system, and as a tutor to elite (Olympic-bound) athletes. She continues to compose questions for the Gauss Contest, an international Mathematics competition set by the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.
